Police have information on a crash that injured a driver at I-635 in Balch Springs, TX on October 20th, 2024. Officials say the incident happend around 2:54 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia Optima headed northbound on I-635 is said to have veered from the roadway for unclear reasons. Authorities say the vehicle struck a retaining wall, the impact causing the vehicle to flip before coming to rest on its wheels. Police say 30-year-old driver, La Darius Mathews, was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and seriously injured. There were no other reported injuries and additional information was not available.
