What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Frankford Rd and Josey Ln in Carrollton, TX on May 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Mack truck operated by a 31-year-old Dallas man was headed westbound on Frakford Rd when it slowed to make a right turn into a private drive. A Jeep Wrangler behind the truck is said to have made a lane change into a middle lane as the truck slowed before the truck veered into the middle lane and was struck in the rear by the Jeep. The Jeep driver, 35-year-old Lakeesha Williams, suffered minor injuries. The Dallas man was not injured and charged with Improper Right Turn.
