What Happened

El Paso Police have arrested a driver in connection with a collision that killed a person at George Dieter and Rex Baxter in El Paso, TX on December 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a vehicle headed southbound on George Dieter that was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed crested a hill. A vehicle turning left onto Baxter collided with the motorcycle and the operator of the bike, 24-year-old Laramie Fowler, suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the car, Carmen Ofelia De Los Santos was arrested on December 29th under a charge of Accident Involving Death.
