What Happened

Maine State Police are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at Route 1 in Orient, ME on February 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened 9:30 a.m.  Investigators are saying a northbound tractor-trailer operated by 31-year-old James Walsh crossed into a southbound lane and collided with a tractor-trailer operated by 66-year-old Larry Belanger. The two vehicles collided head-on, causing serious injuries to Walsh. Belanger is said to have suffered minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
