What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed a driver at Lake June Rd in Dallas, TX on May 16th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 8:44 p.m. According to investigators, a Buick Lacrosse was performing a left turn when it was struck by an approaching Nissan Armada. Reports allege the Buick may have failed to yield right of way. The impact is said to have sent the Buick veering from the roadway where it collided with a parked Dodge Ram. Authorities say the driver of the Buick, identified as 68-year-old Larry McGee, was fatally injured. The 16-year-old driver of the Nissan had minor injuries, reports say, and was allegedly unlicensed. No other injuries were reported.
