Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at  US 181 in Wilson County, TX on August 10th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:12 p.m. A Toyota Tundra operated by 45-year-old Lashley Drake Witten reportedly failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer slowing to make a turn, veering from the road in the process. Witten suffered serious injuries. The other driver was not injured. Additional information was not available.
