Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at  I-40 near Amarillo, TX on June 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:40 p.m. A Chevrolet Suburban headed westbound is said to have collided with a pedestrian allegedly walking on the edge of the roadway. The pedestrian, identified as 51-year-old Leanna Kaye McInnish, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
