What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Loop 410 at Villamain in San Antonio, TX on July 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle and dump truck were involved in a collision that occurred under unclear circumstances. It was alleged the motorcycle may have been attempting to travel around the dump truck before colliding with a guardrail and being struck by the truck. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 47-year-old Lee John Maher,  suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The condition of the truck operator was not stated.
