What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 77 in Rockdale, TX on September 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a Dodge Ram truck occupied by 51-year-old Lena Jean Jackson made a left turn while headed south on US 77, turning into the path of a northbound Ford F-250. The vehicles collided, causing fatal injuries to Jackson. The driver of the Ford and a passenger were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
