San Marcos Police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a man at State Hwy 123 in San Marcos, TX on June 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1 a.m. Investigators believe 69-year-old Lenord Green Coleman was struck by a delivery truck while walking in or near a lane of travel. Following the collision, police allege the truck left the scene without stopping to render aid. Directly after, an approaching SUV also struck Coleman, this vehicle also leaving the scene. Coleman suffered fatal injuries in the incident. Authorities say they were able to locate the driver of the delivery truck and are currently searching for the other driver.
