Officials are investigating a crash that occurred at 6:47 a.m. on McKinney Street and Main Street. According to reports, a Tesla Model Y was turning left from McKinney Street onto Main Street when it allegedly pulled out in front of a westbound motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, identified as 42-year-old Lenry Van Zyl, was thrown from the bike onto the roadway, sustaining serious injuries. Van Zyl was transported by medics for treatment.
