Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at Loop 1604 in Bexar County, TX on June 26th, 2022. Police are saying the incident happened around 1:55 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Genesis operated by 43-year-old Misti Munk was headed eastbound on Loop 1604 in a westbound lane prior to colliding head-on with a Ford Edge operated by 39-year-old Esteban Garcia. Investigators allege Monk fell asleep at the wheel prior to the collision, which caused serious injuries to both drivers. Two passengers in the Ford, identified as 38-year-old Raymond Solis Jr and 37-year-old Leonella Gaitan, suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not available.
