Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Westmoreland Rd in Dallas, TX on June 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:53 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Cobalt headed northbound is alleged to have turned left on a yellow light from Westmoreland onto the I-30 service road. While doing so, police say the vehicle failed to yield to an approaching Nissan Versa, the two vehicles colliding as a result. Authorities say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 22-year-old Leslie Freeney, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured.
