What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 979 in Robertson County, TX on May 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 operated by 58-year-old Leslie Nolan was reportedly headed southbound on FM 979 as it entered a curve in the road. It reportedly began veering into a gravel shoulder and, upon attempting to correct back onto the road, went into a skid. The vehicle then went into a grass embankment and rolled into a tree line. Nolan suffered serious injuries and reports indicate a Failure to Drive in Single Lane charge was recommended and/or issued.
