Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Walton Walker Blvd in Irving, TX on March 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:05 a.m. Investigators say a Volkswagen Passat operated by a 31-year-old male was northbound on Loop 12 at the time. It has been alleged the vehicle failed to control its speed, colliding with the rear of a Nissan Altima operated by a 53-year-old Lewisville woman. Authorities believe she sustained serious injuries while the other driver was not injured. Officers recommended and/or issued a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
