What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that  I-20 in Howard County, TX on September 29th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Investigators say that dash-cam footage present in a tractor-trailer operated by a 54-year-old Bedford, TX man shows the truck failing to remain in a single lane, causing an adjacent Acura operated by 64-year-old Ligaya Childers Bynum to lose control and veered into a guardrail. Bynum suffered serious injuries in the collision while the Bedford man was not injured and charged with Failure to Drive in Single Lane.
