What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 281 and Rangerville Rd in Cameron County, TX on May 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9 p.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 20-year-old Valeria Lizett Gracia Lopez reportedly crossed a center line while navigating a curve and collided with a Lincoln MKT operated by 30-year-old Liliana Gisela Govea. Govea suffered serious injuries in the collision. No other injuries were reported. Police issued a charge of Intoxication Assualt against Lopez.
