What Happened

State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle accident at State Hwy 332 in Brazoria County, TX on March 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:33 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operate dby 37-year-old Eliazar Celedon was headed westbound on a two lane road. A Toyota Rav4 operated by 50-year-old Floyd Thomas Harrell was headed westbound and came to a stop to make a left turn into a private lot. The commercial truck is said to have failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the Toyota before veering from the road into a ditch. The impact caused the Toyota to spin out of control and was struck head-on by a Mercedes-Benz operated by 56-year-old Tami Heese. Heese suffered minor injuries as did a passenger, 85-year-old Lorraine Heese. Harrell was not injured, however, a passenger in the vehicle, 54-year-old Lisa Clark Harrell suffered serious injuries. Celedon was also not injured and cited for Failure to Control Speed to Avoid Accident.
