Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in Colorado County, TX on February 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:17 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Ranger operated by 56-year-old Lisa Kottwitz was reportedly headed eastbound on I-10 when it veered form the road at a curve. It then went into a skid and rolled down an embankment, causing Kottwitz serious injuries. Officers allege intoxication signs were present at the scene and records indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended or issued.
