What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at North Houston Rosslyn Rd in Houston, TX on January 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra operated by an unnamed 20-year-old man was headed southbound on Rosslyn Rd is said to have made a lane change before collided with a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle was one of two that were involved in a previous accident and sitting in a travel lane as the drivers exchanged information. One of the drivers, identified as Loan Lam, was struck by one of the vehicles in the impact from the Nissan collision. Lam is believed to have suffered serious injuries while the Nissan driver had minor injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued a DWI charge against the Nissan driver.
