Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at US Hwy 287 in Wise County, TX on June 28th, 2024. Authorities say it happened around 3:48 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed southbound is said to have overturned for unknown reasons, blocking southbound lanes. An approaching pickup truck, operated by 33-year-old Logan Ray Churchwell, is said to have collided with the overturned truck. The impact left Churchwell fatally injured, reports say.
