What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 174 in Burleson, TX on May 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:59 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 36-year-old Lorenzo Rodriguez was headed southbound on SW Wilshire Blvd when it swerved into a northbound lane. Police say Rodriguez informed them the vehicle swerved to avoid another vehicle headed toward the Chevrolet before it collided with a parked vehicle in a parking lot. The accident caused serious injuries and reports indicate a Failure to Drive in Single Lane charge was recommended and/or issued.
