Police are investigating a collision that injured four people at FM 78 in Seguin, TX on August 30th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:24 p.m. Investigators say a Kia Sportage headed northbound on FM 1620 before allegedly failing to yield at a stop sign and colliding with a Nissan Versa at the FM 78 intersection. Officials say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 70-year-old Louisa Mendez, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured, according to reports, were three passengers in the vehicle and the 77-year-old driver of the Kia, none of whom were publicly identified. Police say the driver of the Kia was cited for Failure to Yield at Stop Intersection. Additional information was not available.
