What Happened

Houston Police charged a driver in connection with a fatal collision at Little York Rd in Houston, TX on January 10th, 2022. Police say a Dodge Ram operated by 28-year-old Sergio Davila-Rodriguez was headed westbound when it lost control. They say it struck a curb and veered into an eastbound lane where it collided head-on with a Kia Rio, The impact caused the Rio to overturn and veer into another direction of traffic before an unidentified female passenger was ejected. Identified as 23-year-old Lucinda Cruz, she died at the scene. The Kia was struck by a Ford F-450 tow truck and the driver of the Kia also died at the scene. Davila-Rodriguez faces two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter.
