What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-45 near FM 646 in League City, TX on January 6th, 2024. Polices the incident happened around 3:21 a.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Jetta was allegedly traveling northbound while in southbound lanes of I-45 before colliding head-on with an approaching Toyota Camry. Reports indicate a passenger in the Toyota, identified as 49-year-old Luis Aguillon Torres, suffered fatal injuries from the crash. Also killed was the alleged driver of the Volkswagen, who reports indicate was 22-year-old Ana Rascon. Reports further indicate the driver of the Toyota, identified as 49-year-old Prishilla Gomez Guillen, was seriously injured. Authorities expressed suspicion of possible drug and alcohol involvement in the crash and had no additional inforamtion available.
