Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 59 in Angelina County, TX on June 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. A Buick Lacrosse operated by 59-year-old Luis Chavez reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign intersection and collided with a Mac truck. The three occupants of the truck were not injured. Chavez, who police charged with Failure to Yield, was seriously injured in the collision.
