Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 190 in Robertson County, TX on March 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:50 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 70-year-old College Station man was headed southbound on US 190 when it collided with a can that was pulling into southbound traffic lanes attempting to go northbound. The impact caused the van to overturn, leaving a passenger identified as 46-year-old Luis Antonio Gomez Araque with fatal injuries. Three other passenger, including the driver, suffered serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
