What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Aldine Bender Rd in Harris County, TX on July 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:45 p.m. and involved a commercial truck that was operated by 34-year-old Luis Alberto Hernandez Ostos colliding with a Chevrolet Suburban operated by 63-year-old Luis Perez. Police allege Ostos was intoxicated at the time of the collision, which left with 61-year-old  Suburban passenger, Alma Perez, with suspected serious injuries. Mr Perez had injuries believed to be less serious. Authorities have recommended and/or issued and Intoxication Assault charge against Ostos. Additional information was not available.
