What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials identified the person killed in a crash at US 79 and County Rd 329 in Panola County, TX on September 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:35 p.m. A motorcycle headed south on US 79 was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it made a left turn onto the highway and struck the left side of a semi-truck. 42-year-old Lukebra Allison suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The truck driver, 44-year-old Fabian Chapa-Chapa and 20-year-old Crystal Chapa were treated and released.
