Texas Department of Public Safety Officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Sam Houston Pkwy in Harris County, TX on August 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:45 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 57-year0old Houston man is accused of failing to control its speed and colliding with multiple vehicles stopped at a red light. 46-year-old Luquis Victoria Martinez suffered minor injuries in the collision. Another driver, age 61 from Houston, also suffered minor injuries. 33-year-old Mark Andrew Villanueva was identified as having possibly suffered injuries. The truck driver was not injured and charged with Failure to Drive in Single Lane, Failure to Control Speed and Traveling Wrong Way on One Way Roadway.
