Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Flower Mound Rd in Flower Mound, TX on July 14th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 3:20 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle traveling westbound on Flower Mound Rd is alleged to have been approaching a construction zone at the time. Reports alleged the vehicle may have disregarded warning signs in the area before entering into the construction zone and colliding with a rebar. Official say the vehicle lost control and crashed, ejecting its operator from the vehicle. The operator, identified as 47-year-old Mac Sharpen, was fatally injured, reports say.
