What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a person at I-35 and Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Waco, TX on June 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:58 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 28-year-old Brampton, Ontario man was headed northbound on I-35 when it allegedly failed to control its speed. It collided with the rear of a Jeep Compass operated by 26-year-old Madeline Roseberry. Roseberry's vehicle was pushed into a Ford Explorer ahead in the impact, causing minor injuries. The others involved are said to have been uninjured. Reports indicate a Failure to Control Speed charge was recommended and/or issued.
