What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at South Gessner Dr in Houston, TX on April 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. According to their investigation, a Toyota 4Runner operated by a 47-year-old Sealy man was reportedly traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Gessner Dr prior to colliding head-on into a Hyundai Accent operated by 75-year-old Magda Padilla. Padilla suffered serious injuries in the collision. The Sealy man's injuries were not revealed and reports indicate he was charged with DWI.
