What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-35 in San Antonio, TX on July 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:53 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 28-year-old Laredo man reportedly performed a lane change and struck a Ford Focus operated by 19-year-old Maggie Hernandez. The Focus then veered from the road into a guardrail, causing minor injuries to both Hernandez and her passenger, 19-year-old Anna Flores. The Laredo man was not injured.
