What Happened

Officials are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:04 p.m. on FM 1960 Rd E on September 16th, 2024. According to reports, the Ford Expedition was traveling eastbound when it allegedly failed to control its speed and rear-ended a stopped Chevrolet Colorado. The Expedition then veered into westbound traffic, where it collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla, operated by Maibi Gonzalez. Gonzalez sustained serious injuries in the crash, reports say. The impact caused the Corolla to rotate and be struck again by a Chevrolet Traverse. The Expedition continued forward and was struck by a Dodge Ram 1500.
