Police say the incident happened around 10:18 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Terrain operated by 24-year-old Makayla Hicks was northbound before changing lanes while attempting to pass a construction truck ahead. Police say the truck was stopped in an inside lane Seth a directional arrow and flashing lights. As the GMC changed lanes, police say it struck the stopped truck, leaving Hicks with suspected serious injuries. There were no other reported injuries, according to investigators.
