Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at 103rd St and Saratoga Dr in Lubbock, TX on December 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:59 a.m. A motorcycle operated by a 41-year-old Lubbock man is said to have veered from the road into a curb and crashed into a brick mailbox. The man, who investigators allege was under the influence of alcohol, suffered serious injuries.  Records indicate a charge of Driving While Intoxicated was issued.
