What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information related to a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 3432 in Cass County, TX on August 10th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:40 p.m. A motorcycle operated by a 38-year-old Doddridge, AR man was headed northbound on County Rd 3432. At the same time, a Mercury Grand Marquis operated by a 16-year-old Atlanta, TX teen was headed southbound. The Mercury reportedly failed to give half the roadway, causing the motorcycle to collide with the front of the car. The Doddridge man suffered serious injuries in the collision while the teen was uninjured. The Doddridge man was also cited for Operate Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Driving While License Invalid, Operating a Motorcycle Without Approved Headgear and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
