The vehicle is said to have struck a pedestrian near a private residence and a mailbox before coming to rest. The pedestrian, identified as 71-year-Milton Tompkins, was seriously injured. The driver, age 19 and not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured and charged with Intoxicated Assault.
