What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at Dairy Rd and New York Ave in Hereford, TX on May 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:48 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Corvette operated by a 28-year-old Hereford man was headed westbound on Dairy Rd when it veered from the road at a curve. It struck a fiber optic pedestal and electrical pole before overturning. A 32-year-old passenger is said to have been seriously injured. Police say both driver and passenger fled the scene, however, the passenger was later located.
