Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 102 in Wharton County, TX on September 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:20 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 50-year-old Halletsville man was headed westbound on FM 102 when it failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a GMC Sierra was active emergency hazard lights. The collision caused serious injuries the the driver of the GMC, a 46-year-old Waelder man. Additional information was not immediately available.
