Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 112 in Lee County, TX on January 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:14 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 27-year-old Kyle man was headed northwest on FM 112 when, according to investigators, it failed to stay in a single lane and collided with the rear of a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by a 19-year-old Elgin man. The Elgin man suffered serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Records indicate a Failure to Drive in Single Lane charge was recommended and/or issued.
