What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 205 in Erath County, TX on April 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:12 p.m. Investigators say a Jeep Wrangler operated by 23-year-old Jenna Proctor was headed westbound on FM 205 at an alleged unsafe speed when it lost control at a curve. It then veered left and went into a skid before striking an embankment and overturned. A passenger in the vehicle, a 24-year-old male, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Proctor was not injured and reports indicate alcohol may have been involved in the incident.
