Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at Hollyvale Dr in Harris County, TX on December 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:55 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda CR-V was eastbound on Hollyvale Dr, allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed, before losing control. The vehicle first struck a concrete drain, reports allege, before enters into and through a west ditch. Following this, investigators say thhe vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle and a tree before coming to stop. The driver, a 23-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was seriously injured, police say. A 5-month-old child in the vehicle sustained injuries that could not be confirmed but were suspected to be minor. Sources indicate a DWI w/Child Under 15 charge was recommend and/or issued against the driver. Additional information was not available.
