Authorities in Hudspeth County, TX, are investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred on December 14, 2024, around 11:25 p.m. on Interstate 10. A Freightliner Cascadia truck tractor was disabled in a traffic lane and improperly entered the controlled access highway, resulting in a collision with a Witzco semi-trailer and a Ford Explorer. The 35-year-old driver of the Ford Explorer sustained suspected serious injuries. The truck driver, a 36-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was uninjured and cited for entering the highway where prohibited. A defective trailer hitch on the Witzco trailer was noted.
