What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-35 and Killam Industrial Blvd in Laredo, TX on January 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:29 p.m. A commercial truck operated by a 58-year-old Laredo man was headed southbound on I-35 when, according to the driver, another vehicle turned in front of the vehicle, cutting it off. This caused the vehicle to brake and lost control before veering from the road and overturning. Both the driver and a 56-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries.
