Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at  I-35 in McLennan County, TX on February 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 32-year-old Overland Park, KS man is said to have lost control on an icy patch of road and veered into a guardrail. A 34-year-old passenger was seriously injured while the driver is said to have not been injured. Records indicate an Unsafe Speed charge was issued.
