What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-45 and Fuqua St in Houston, TX on May 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:55 p.m. A commercial truck hauling a large spool of wire suffered a shift that caused the cargo to fall from the truck. It then struck a 38-year-old male pedestrian standing nearby in the sidewalk. That person suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was issued at Failure to Secure Load charge.
