Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-45 and Saint Mary's St in Centerville, TX on December 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet S10 was southbound prior to losing control for unconfirmed reasons. The vehicle is said to have veered from the road into a ditch before overturning. In the process, reports say the truck lost a tire that traveled into a lane of travel where it was struck by an approaching tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer experienced a tire-blowout as a result, the incident causing the tire to strike a nearby vehicle.
