Police say the incident happened around 10:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Cruze was headed eastbound on Leopard St before allegedly failing to remain in its lane of travel and colliding with a pedestrian walking in an eastbound shoulder. Reports say the pedestrian, only identified s a 36-year-old man, was seriously injured. Police say the driver of the Chevrolet was allegedly uninjured and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
